Lunar Eclipse and some actual finished spinning!!!
We were able to view the
February 20th lunar eclipse and even though it was very,
bitterly cold outside, I was able to capture a few
pictures worth viewing.
Instructables.com
I've posted a new
instructable at
Instructables.com. It is a quick and easy (or
completely lazy) way to make up a dress quickly,
inexpensively and fast!
Finished spinning and
other objects:
This is the pink cotton
single I finished awhile back plyed with a single of some
wonderful cotton/hemp blend I acquired from
Mielke's Fiber
Arts back a couple of years ago.
Aah, the hazards of
owning a fiber stash. You buy the stuff with intent of
immediate use, only to discover God has other plans for
you.
This yarn is intended to
be used for crocheted granny square dishcloths.
I also finished some
super fuzzy socks.
These are knit from a 3
ply I threw together of mohair, wool and I'm quite
uncertain what the black is. I do know that it is quite
soft as are these socks.
Last, but not least, I
crocheted a 100% cotton basket to hold my growing camel
rug I'm still working on. I got the pattern for this from
Orange Flower. I thought it
would be really nifty (which it is) and fast to crochet
(it was).
